I got "kdelibs5-data: /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml" too. kdelibs5-data is required for kate and kompare.
After removing kdelibs5-data and double-clicking on a war, I got an error message box saying Could not display "file name" There is no application installed for application/x-webarchive type files It has two buttons which are "Select Application" and "OK" I clicked "Select Application" and selected "Archive Manager". It opens the war file without any problem. However, I need "kate" and "kompare" so installed these again and the problem is back again. Is there any way to have these tools without having any problem with opening war files? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to file-roller in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877256 Title: Can't open ".war" format since Oneiric (java) Status in File Roller: New Status in “file-roller” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “file-roller” source package in Oneiric: Confirmed Bug description: Not supportin ".war" archive format.
