so it would be more of a feature request than a bug, but could we have a "save as" button next to "save"? The minimal interface is nice but I was scanning three photos at a time with a flatbed, and couldn't save each picture separately. Never thought of looking into the application menu and ended up downloading xsane and cropping with gimp.
Thinking about it now, even better than a "save as" button would be to simply have a dialogue with the usual "This file already exists, wadya wanna do? replace/new/cancel" when pressing save a second time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to simple-scan in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1683460 Title: cannot save several times a scan Status in simple-scan package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I wanted to save the same scan in png and pdf but the save button kept insensitive after the first save even after rotating a page hoping to trigger an unsaved status. version: 3.24.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/simple-scan/+bug/1683460/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
