so it would be more of a feature request than a bug, but could we have a "save 
as" button next to "save"?
The minimal interface is nice but I was scanning three photos at a time with a 
flatbed, and couldn't save each picture separately. Never thought of looking 
into the application menu and ended up downloading xsane and cropping with gimp.

Thinking about it now, even better than a "save as" button would be to
simply have a dialogue with the usual "This file already exists, wadya
wanna do? replace/new/cancel" when pressing save a second time.

Bug description:
  I wanted to save the same scan in png and pdf but the save button kept
  insensitive after the first save even after rotating a page hoping to
  trigger an unsaved status.
