Title:
Regression, system does not capture sound from microphone

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Looks like its a regression on 10.04.

  1. Boot Karmic 9.04 LiveCD (Kubuntu). Install skype, turn up all bars
in KMix. Make test call - skype works well, it hears my voice.

  2. Boot Lucid Lynx 10.04. Do the same - skype does not hear my voice. At the
same time I can hear my voice in headset in real time. But for some reason it
does not be recordered.

  Tried:

  1. Install pulseaudio - no effect

  2. Installed linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic, no effect.

  3. Tried to set mono input using pavucontrol - no effect.
