Title:
Illegal instruction (core dumped) pulseaudio
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Illegal instruction (core dumped) pulseaudio
this happens on the box with the speakers. pulseaudio is receiving
sound via:
socat TCP-LISTEN:4713,fork UNIX-CONNECT:/tmp/pulse-uPn1cDmiq2Qc/native
this works fine while receiving sound from a box running precise.
when receiving sound from quantal, it all still works fine while the
sending program is mplayer. when the sending box (quantal) launches
vlc, this happens.
btw i already solved an "illegal instruction" problem on this machine
by replacing mplayer2 with mplayer. does pulseaudio perhaps have a
similar issue with older hardware?
