I have the exact same problem. It is also preventing Deja Dup from backing up my files.
My server is on my local network, and I have also tried remote connecting from a friend's house, both fail with the same message after 10 minutes. In both situations, ssh and sshfs from the command line are successful with no problems or delays. "Error mounting location: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply.
