The crash is in gs-plugin-loader.c:
g_hash_table_insert (priv->events_by_id,
g_strdup (gs_plugin_event_get_unique_id (event)),
g_object_ref (event));
In that the uniqe ID can be NULL. I'm not sure if this is a bug in the
code that generated the event or we should handle NULL ids. I've asked
upstream for clarification.

Bug description:
New defect in artful which started with 3.24.3-0ubuntu1 and in the top
5 weekly crashes for the desktop packages set.
The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding
