Title:
  gnome-software crashes when opening

Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I have just recently installed Ubuntu 16.04 again and as I for the
first was trying to install a couple of programs from gnome-software I
opened the dash and typed gnome-software and clicked on the old Ubuntu
Software Center icon. The gui for gnome-software appeared after a
little while, but disappeared and I didn't even get a crash message on
  the first run.
