Bug description:
The list of updates remain after update installation progress
indication shows the update is finished. The list of updates displays
"Software is up to date" after restarting the machine.
I was able to reproduce this immediately after installing ubuntu-16.10
-desktop-amd64 on a Gnome boxes virtual machine.
