Same thing happens to me almost daily. Does not make laptop unusable but
it hits my roof when it happens during Imgur browsing.
At least one thing that is not mentioned here is that when giving normal
single-press "Right" xev reports events KeyRelease+KeyPress+KeyRelease (YES,
strange pre-release event every time with exactly same time stamp):
KeyRelease event, serial 22, synthetic NO, window 0x4a00001,
root 0xa2, subw 0x0, time 2514518, (706,871), root:(706,896),
state 0x0, keycode 114 (keysym 0xff53, Right), same_screen YES,
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
KeyPress event, serial 22, synthetic NO, window 0x4a00001,

When this sticky-key symptom occurs during normal single-press "Right" it will
be reported as series of "KP_Right":

Title:
Random stuck keys on Lenovo Yoga 13
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
pressing arrow keys leads randomly to the effect of stuck number key
and produces output in consoles or text editors like: "2222222222" or
"8888888888". Pressing some other key stops the infinite flooding.
This may (or not) be related to the following flooding in
/var/log/system
