Public bug reported: Hello, I wish I could run:
nautilus --select %U from an application that would open Nautilus window with the file selected in it (without opening). This works with dolphin but looks like the option is currently not present in Nautilus. Just an idea. I found this in dolphin' s source code: https://github.com/KDE/dolphin/blob/2fd85facf85b39f84eeada10bcf80060bb72ab51/src/global.cpp#L54 ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1716174 Title: [Suggested feature] Add the option --select Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hello, I wish I could run: nautilus --select %U from an application that would open Nautilus window with the file selected in it (without opening).
