Hint: when starting the apps, I'm seeing the following message, which
wasn't present with 5.3.4.2:

Using the fallback 'C' locale.

Bug description:
This is a regression from the current snap in the stable channel (5.3.4.2).
If I save a file as "tést.odt", it appears in nautilus as "t??st.odt".
