Title: System tray (notification area) icons are placed in strange non- intuitive place - left buttom corner of window! Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Ubuntu 17.10. 2. Launch Ubuntu GNOME session 3. Install application which places its icon to the system tray (notification area) such as `hplip` or `transmission` 3.
