Hi Leonidas,

Downgrading to libpoppler68=0.57.0-2ubuntu1 didn't solve the problem for
me.

I'm afraid I can't share the PDF I'm using. It's a copyrighted ebook. :(

Title:
evince doesn't render pdf, shows white page instead

Status in evince package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
After recent updates to Ubuntu 17.10 beta 2, evince no longer reads
*some* PDFs. Interestingly, the previews in nautilus have been
affected for those PDFs as well.

Here's an album illustrating what I see: https://imgur.com/a/ccPVV

  My Ubuntu release:

  ➜ ~ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu Artful Aardvark (development branch)
  Release: 17.10

  Evince version: ➜ ~ apt-cache policy evince
  evince:
    Installed: 3.26.0-1
    Candidate: 3.26.0-1
    Version table:
   *** 3.26.0-1 500
          500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu artful/main amd64 Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

What I expected to happen: PDF is rendered.

What happened instead: PDF isn't rendered.
