(specifically VMD and "FLTK Sudoku") These applications have menus which usually (but strangely not always) fail to draw the pull-down list-of-choices, when you click on them. Oddly, if you pull down anyway, then the list of choices is drawn, but only if you move the mouse downwards after clicking. So far, I'm noticing this in the molecular visualisation program "VMD" and fltk games like "FLTK Sudoku". (You can test the problem quickly by installing fltk1.1-games.) I don't know if this was happening earlier, but I did not notice it until after the upgrade. I noticed this on two different computers which were recently upgraded to ubuntu 10.10, with different hardware. (One has an old nvidia graphics card. The other has a new ATI card. Both use proprietary graphics drivers. I'm happy to provide graphics driver versions, if somebody can tell me how to determine this.)
