Title:
[natty] G-P-M Applets Missing
Status in gnome-power-manager package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in gnome-power-manager package in Fedora:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
The Gnome Power Manager Applets, e.g. (and specifically) the Inhibit
Applet, are missing from Natty. This is also a known issue for Fedora
14.
From my understanding of the Fedora bug report, it is a packaging
issue. Certainly the code is still present in the G-P-M source
repository.
I have written a command-line utility to control the inhibit state,
which I will attach to provide people with a workaround. It could be
grown into a suitable GUI replacement, e.g., for Unity.
