cannot drop dragged objects to nautilus

Bug description:
Dropping objects to a Nautilus window will prevent the source
application from receiving further (input) events. As a consequence of
this, such an application become unusable for the user and killing
that process is the only way to go.
It reproduced by trying to drop desktop icons, Thunderbird attachments
or text... etc. to a Nautilus window.
