@seb128 I've made several tests here: Full screen: Calling "gnome-screenshot -c" doesn't put anything on the clipboard, it reports "There is no image data in the clipboard to paste". When calling via UI, a full screen and sending to clipboard, pasting into GIMP, it just pastes the top part of the screen (kind of out-of-buffer-memory problem maybe?)
Part of screen: When selecting a small sector of the screen with "shift + printscreen" button, it's not sent to the clipboard. When using the gnome-screenshot UI, a sector of screen can be sent to the clipboard. With "gnome-screenshot -a -c", from GIMP it reports "There is no image data in the clipboard to paste". Same version as reported by @egon-rath -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-screenshot in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1709781 Title: Screenshots do not work in Wayland session Status in Gnome Screenshot: New Status in gnome-screenshot package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: With the current 17.10 builds, it's not possible to take screenshots when using the Wayland session.
