Public bug reported:

I have the following bug with a clean install of Ubuntu 17.10.

When I try to drag a file or folder from my desktop to an open nautilus
window the file or folder doesn't get moved and instead the mouse keeps
being stuck in the hand icon. This meakes the system merely usable
anymore since I can open applications like firefox but can not click any
buttons in it except the quit buttons. I have to reboot the system to
get it to work again.

This happens on every try.
