Title:
Unable to change display positionning when laptop is docked under
17.10 gnome-control-center
Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Since upgrading to 17.10, I was unable to drag displays to match my
setup under "gnome-control-center display" when my zbook 15 laptop was
plugged on HP 230W docking station.
This scenario imply 3 screens. The switched off 4k 16:9 laptop screen
3200x1800 (lid is closed), one LG 21:9 2560x1080 and one Dell 16:9
1920x1080. (See attached picture)
It's impossible to move the display screen inside the "Display
Arrangement" zone.
For now I manage with xrandr but unfortunately, I have to arrange
screen after each reboot. Without gnome-control-center, screen
position is not stored.
