Thank you for your message. I am no longer able to replicate the
problem, but have enabled apport, so will file a crash report when or if
it next occurs.

Title:
Insert Names Command not working in LibreOffice Calc

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Each time I use the Insert Names Command from the drop down window,
the program closes. This works Ok under Windows.

I follow the Inset Menu, select Names, select Define Names and then select a
name to be modified, modify with the cell selection button and then press
modify. the program crashes.
Alternatively, I delete the name, then add it and the program again crashes.
