Public bug reported:
Hello!
I have Ubuntu 17.10 in a system where Wayland is not working (because my
graphic kernel driver doesn't support modesetting). So, the usual session is,
for me, of X11 type. Despite I have enabled gdm's autologin feature (in
/etc/gdm3/custom.conf), everytime I boot the system I obtain the login screen.
If I disable Wayland tout court (WaylandEnable=false in
/etc/gdm3/custom.conf) it works as expected (autologin directly to the
user session).
Best regards,
Alessandro
