gnome-sound-recorder reads files from ~/Recordings, but some strange file names (unicode?) break the application, that it doesn't work at all, at least works faulty. You can reproduce this bug: rm -rf ~/Recordings gnome-sound-recorder Record Done "Clip 1 is shown" correctly.
