Title: Firefox requires PulseAudio for working sound again Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I'm using Ubuntu 17.10 dev with Firefox 55.0.2+build1-0ubuntu4 and Firefox requires PulseAudio for working sound again. This is a regression of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1671273 and there is a report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /lubuntu-meta/+bug/1710993 but it seems to be Lubuntu-specific.
