Fresh install, sources updated
When opening Ubuntu Software (or Gnome Software in Xubuntu) only Editors
picks is shown
Searching for apps only returns snap version or nothing if no snap available
Test case:
Fresh install of current 18.04 image
Boot up, log in, update sources
Open Ubuntu Software, notice main screen
Search for an app, ex. in screens below
What happens:
Only snap versions are found (if they exist
To fix (user side):
Remove the gnome-software snap plugin package
re-open Software, all is as expected.
Re-install the snap plugin, all remains as expected..
