Public bug reported: When selecting a network to connect to from nm-applet's list, sometimes the list updates and redraws itself the split-second before clicking on a network. The often results in the order of networks changing, so that the wrong network is clicked on by mistake.
It would be helpful if the list was prevented from updating/redrawing when it is visible, so that this cannot happen. An alternative solution would be to have the option to hide user- selected networks that will never be used from the list (e.g. ones that belong to neighbours etc.), so that they can never be clicked on by mistake in the future. ** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager-applet in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1735367 Title: Prevent redrawing list of networks when visible Status in network-manager-applet package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When selecting a network to connect to from nm-applet's list, sometimes the list updates and redraws itself the split-second before clicking on a network.
