Title: software-center: wrong string used for version info paid apps Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Software center uses two different strings to indicate the version of the software a review refers to. The first one is: "This versions (version_nr). The second is: "For version version_nr". For paid app (and only paid apps), the first version is always used, even for reviews that were written for previous versions. For expample, if you read the reviews for Monster RPG 2 you will see that the first form is used for the current version (1.1.0), but also for previous versions (1.0.0) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: software-center 5.0.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-13.22-generic 3.0.6 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-13-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 Architecture: i386 CheckboxSubmission: 4d622a2daf4715c83324b38deda76e9b CheckboxSystem: b5acb6c9ca4017b1d44043910f45329d Date: Fri Nov 11 13:06:24 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release i386 (20111012) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: software-center UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/889080/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
