Hi, actually I've completely overlooked the button "Playlist" above browser.
https://askubuntu.com/questions/452094/accessing-menus-in-rhythmbox-on-gnome
describes exactly the same issue.

Title:
can't change params of automated playlist

Status in rhythmbox package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
If I create a new auto-playlist, there is no GUI way to change
attributes/params, that has been created. I can do that by direct
editing of playlists.xml but it's not so easy way for many users.
