I know that this comment is not really useful, but I'd like to point out that, unfortunately, this bug is still not fixed in the newest version of Poppler (FC15: 0.16.7-1.fc15). I would really appreciate if someone could try to fix this bug (unfortunately I'm not able to do so) because due to this bug I cannot use Evince/Okular to print sheet music created with Lilypond.

Especially the bars are much more thicker when you print it and thats what you normally do with sheet music. If you print the same PDF (created by Lilypond) with Acrobat Reader the bars are correct. So it is no bug in Lilypond but in Evince or maybe in poppler. I added a sample Lilypond file and the corresponding PDF file. To reproduce it, print it with Acrobat Reader and then with Evince and you will see the difference. I have also added a screenshot with both applications zoomed in. The difference in the screenshots are marginal, but the difference in the hardcopy are huge.
