Doing sudo apt stuff is so not my thing, as I do not know how to do or
where do such stuff.

Thankyou though very much for your advice, and everything is ok now as I
was using a

16.10 system and it got updated to 17.10 system, I think, and firefox 57
was part of the

upgrade. So thanks again, and have amazing new year and many many more.

Title:
  firefox quantum not loading

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I have not got a clue about what is going on or how to report it, as I
am not computer speak literate, and the instructions for downloading
firefox quantum only apply to 'about firefox', the old one, and not
  installing the new.
