Title:
Pulseaudio: please compile with support for sox resampler
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
The pulseaudio package in Ubuntu is compiled without support for the
sox resampling methods (soxr-mq, soxr-hq, soxr-vhq), although they are
mentioned in the manpages of pulse-daemon.conf(5).
Please consider compiling pulseaudio with sox support. Thanks!
EDIT: The debian packages actually *are* compiled with libsoxr-dev. What is
the reason to drop that support in Ubuntu?
