Public bug reported:
In xenial, messenging menu would display hexchat irc highlights e.g.
"#channel1 #channel2 nick1 nick2". Upon clicking one of them, the rest
were preserved.
Now, in gnome-shell, all notifications are cleared. A number bubble
remains, and highlighted channels remain, but it is a lot more difficult
to jump to each highlight, as previously I could could go back to the
messaging menu and click #channel2 to open that hightlight.
I'm not sure if this is a bug in hexchat, gnome-shell, or both.
Is there an IRC client with better / preserving capacity of the
highlights and gnome-shell integration?
