Bug description:
  file manager is dead (not working: installing, removing, upgrading):

  dpkg: warning: files list file for package 'libbabl-0.1-0:amd64' missing;

  dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:
   files list file for package `libpurple0' contains empty filename
  E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)

  
  sudo dpkg --configure -a
  sudo apt-get -f install
  does not help...
