I submitted a patch for the ubuntu-reviews plugin within GNOME Software,
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/merge_requests/11, which
has now been merged by Robert. Hopefully this fix will now make it into
a stable ubuntu release (18.04?).

"Got unknown content type text/html" error viewing flatpack packages

Status in GNOME Software:
Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Whenever I view a Flatpak package in gnome-software, an in-app

Since this is modal, I then need to dismiss it before being able to do
  anything else.
