"and look at the progress in the unity launcher" At first, I was under the impression that it was only a *visual* clue, the progress bar on the unity launcher icon.
But I just recently discovered that there is also a *quicklist item* to reveal the progress window, like it was in 11.04 but than with a indicator. In a whole, this design decision feels right: more emphasis on the launcher and less clutter. I would like to share this info for people who also are in search for the hidden progress window. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/855048 Title: Nautilus progress window does not minimize to icon tray Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: When copying a file, a progress window appears. When this is closed by use the window close button in the title bar, an icon should appear in the icon tray. Right now, this is not the case, so the progress window is literally lost.
