Confirmed, the nonlinear optimization methods don't appear in the
Tools/Solver/Options dropdown until libreoffice-java-common is
installed.

Bug description:
  libreoffice-nlpsolver requires libreoffice-java-common but the latter
  is not installed by default or as a dependency of libreoffice-
  nlpsolver. Without it the nonlinear optimization methods don't appear
  in Calc's Tools/Solver/Options menu. I think the .deb for libreoffice-
  nlpsolver needs libreoffice-java-common added as a dependency.
