Title:
[ffe] use locate informations in the search provider
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
That's part of fixing bug #1732780 and making files listed in the
desktop overview for the LTS (which is currently not working and a
regression over Unity or upstream GNOME).
The proposed change uses "locate" as a backend (same as unity was doing), the
corresponding patch is available there
https://gitlab.gnome.org/3v1n0/nautilus/blob/ubuntu-3-26/debian/patches/0019-search-engine-add-locate-based-search-engine.patch
