Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
I'll assume this is the daily build of Ubuntu bionic, based on some of your other reports the last few days. When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. This will automatically add version numbers, appropriate tags and other relevant information. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. For this one, which is already reported, you may run the following command in a terminal (just once), to add the same information: apport-collect 1754902 Keep up the testing and please report any bugs you may come across :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754902 Title: Firefox web browser not found within Software Centre Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: (As seen in the latest daily build of 32bit Ubuntu Budgie with updates applied, using Software v3.27.92) Searching for Firefox only returns Iceweasel.
