Title:
gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in meta_window_get_monitor()
Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
On some mornings, not all, I come to the computer and find it waiting
to submit this. Most times it's rejected because of outdated packages
(it being an alpha and I not yet having had a chance to run the daily
update). This time it wasn't rejected, so here it is.
Unlike earlier examples, in 17.10, it is leaving me with a functional
gnome-shell so it does appear to be launching again afterwards. One
side-effect though: After this happens I have both dash-to-dock *and*
the dash in the activities/applications views. That gets fixed by
logging out and in again.
Today, in a slight break from tradition, the monitor was awake when I
came to it.
There's no core file in homedir.
