Could you file a new bug with that bit of information please? It would be nice if you could forward it to bugzilla.gnome.org as well. -- Kind regards, Loong Jin -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to banshee in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/636814 Title: Library watcher doesnot add new files automatically Status in Banshee Music Player: Fix Released Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: banshee I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and Banshee 1.6.1 The problem with this release (and all past releases) on my machine is that the Music Library does not get updated when I add files to my music folder. The folder in question is not on the root or home partition but on a separate fat32 partition (which i've properly set as the source). I don't think that should be a problem for the player but it doesn't update the Library. Not even upon restarting. I have to manually add the files which is very frustrating. If some one could help with this it would be much appreciated.
