After running for a few weeks, gnome-shell is using more memory than
is reasonable:

/usr/bin/gnome-shell
as time goes on, it tends to slowly creep up. Unfortunately it is
harder to restart than something like Firefox. If you kill it, it
doesn't automatically come back.
