Bug description:
To verify the bug:
1) killall gnome-software
2) lsof -p $(pidof gnome-software) | wc -l
3) Use gnome-software for a while (search for snaps, etc.)
4) Again: lsof -p $(pidof gnome-software) | wc -l
As you can seen the list of open files grows overtime.
This (https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/rF5tHn5BwG/) also shows the problem,
just compile it, get the pid and check with lsof the number of open
files.
