Title: resolv.conf search option 2nd value not recognized Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ubuntu 8.0.4 LTS Desktop If I define a additional search domain in my gnome network settings panel the new search domain ist not recognized. I see in the generated resolf.conf that the additional search domain ist defined as a second parameter to the command "search", in spite to the command "nameserver" where the additional nameserver has its own line. If I change manually the 2nd search option to its own line the definition is recognized : my resolv.conf : ### BEGIN INFO # # Modified_by: NetworkManager # Process: /usr/bin/NetworkManager # Process_id: 4403 # ### END INFO # tmpberlin.de not recognized this way search intranet.local tmpberlin.de # this is how it would be working # search intranet.local # search tmpberlin.de nameserver 192.168.151.1 nameserver 192.168.151.254 domain intranet.local To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/232474/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
