It was generally felt that, while this is clearly a serious bug, it's
not actually going to significantly inconvenience people during install
boot and install of Workstation: even if they hit it they'll likely just
assume they mis-typed, and type their password again, and it will work.
Beyond that, it can be fixed with an update. Thus, this was rejected as
a blocker.
