Title: gedit crashed with SIGABRT in __kernel_vsyscall() Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: precise alpha 1 on Acer Aspire 5253 gedit /etc/samba/smb.conf opened O.K., set network name, bconf to start of search list O.K. tried to do a file open (which would be a second file) so I could copy some user info. Same as I always do. got this crash. gedit would not open the second file.
