Done some more test: the problem seems restricted to Intel HD Graphics 620 used
by Luca Ciavatta https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/1732204
and my Intel HD Graphics 630.
I still have the problem on Ubuntu 18.10:

I try to get a screenshot from my video and totem shows a message
saying it could not get a screenshot of the video and suggesting to
