Marking this Invalid for now because I'm going to assume that the
session switcher was working as intended. Why did your upgrade to 18.04
change this though?

Bug description:
The following users were installed:
admin from DVD install (login with X option)
user id 1001 (login with default Ubuntu option)
user id 1002 (login with default Ubuntu option)
user id 1003 (login with default Ubuntu option)
Desktops for admin and user 1001 are ok.
Desktops for users 1002 and 1003 are corrupted.
