I have downloaded the .tar.gz file from Adobe Flash Player website,
instead of using the APL option, which do not work. I extracted the file
and followed the instructions in the readme.txt file, and my Flash
Player is working!

Installation instructions
-------------------------

Installing using the plugin tar.gz:
o Download and Unpack the plugin tar.gz file. (I downloaded and extracted
within my Downloads folder).
o Open a terminal window and run: sudo nautilus.
o Copy the following file and folder under the extracted folder.
  + libflashplayer.so
  + /usr
o Paste the file and folder under the following location:
/usr/lib/firefox/browser/plugins/
o Open Firefox and your Flash Player should work.
