Title:
Rhythmbox - iPod Touch 2nd Gen | Syncing work well but deleting leaves
the entry in iPod database

Bug description:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I'm trying ubuntu 10.04 beta 2 (april 13th 2010).
Rhythmbox : 0.12.8-0ubuntu1
libgpod : 0.7.93-0ubuntu1
iPod Touch : 2nd gen 8gb (xB528)
Everything is good with the iPod. I had to create directory structure
wich went fine. If I add files on iPod everything is good, music sync,
plays, alleluia!
The problem is when I delete a file, the file is not delete in the
database. I unmounted normally the device, restarted the device, and
the database entry of the song is still there.
If I delete a song with gtkpod, the entry in the database is deleted,
everything is fine. Since rhythmbox uses libgpod, does it have to do
with ligpod or Rhythmbox?
With Rhythmbox, every files is added one by one, on the database and
the storage. The iPod does not stay in syncing for very long, it sync
for few secs and then the iPod is "usable" (since rhythmbox waits for
audio convertion wich is very looooooong...).
With gtkpod, all the action are in queue and done when you save
changes.
Should rhythmbox change then database of the ipod everytime a file is
deleted? Is this libgpod part of the work or rhythmbox's?
I will fill the bug repport also for libgpod project.
Thank you guys, you do awesome work. Two (ten?) thumbs up for
decrypthing apple algorythm!
