It's not an issue upstream, but sounds like Doug's suggestion to
backport the feature to 3.26 (still used up to Ubuntu 18.10) might be a
good idea.

Bug description:
the file manager does not have iin order "type" the .iso file, as
shown in the picture you see that I enclose, the files with the
extension .iso not respect the line and are scattered around the
window
