I am also using Ubuntu 18.04 with latest updates. Files(Nautilus) version 3.26.3. Actions taken: same as described by reporter. Expected result is to open Files. Actual result is an error window as described. Click *ok* on the error window and Files window is open in an empty folder called *x-nautilus-desktop:///* (gf)
